Cat how was the kids first day?? did they get the teachers they wanted? Is Tevin in the same school as last year? Is Josh in a new school?? tell me tell me tell me!!!

Everything went good. :D
This is an 'easy' year. Everyone is in the same schools. Next year will be a tough one.. Joshua will move to the highschool, Tevin will move to Intermediate school (with classes and lockers ) Marian will be a senior.

There was only one teacher that we aren't happy with... and it could be ok. It was a teacher that Marian hated that Josh has, but this teacher might be ok with Josh, ya know? We'll wait and see.

We had to go do the dreaded 'supply' shopping tonight. I hate that part.

87 binders?!? What the heck are they doing with them? I thought I had a lot, with all of my cemetery and genealogy research, but I don't even have that many!

That's what I'm doing right now. My shoot is tomorrow... you'd think I'd have done this part by now, eh? Geez.
Procrastinators or the world UNITE sometime tomorrow.

I do a lot of stuff locally, but Mpix does the die cut corners on the wallets. Gotta have that. And their quality and prices are hard to beat.

Yessir. Will do sir. Maybe.
And I seriously considered taking her to the lake this last weekend.
I AM going to teach her to ride the kayak with me. I am.

ROFLMBO! That is freaking hilarious!! I'm DYING here!

Hi Cat.:D

I wear a T shirt or polo every day, usually sweats in the winter and shorts in the summer. I have 1 pair of jeans and 2 khaki's and that is about it. I do have one dress that is pretty much a sun dress but I'll wear it with a sweater in the winter...

Hi Crissa.:D

Sorry, LOL. I was making up astronomical numbers to get my point across. The ACTUAL numbers MAY have been slightly less.

On the 22nd. Her birthday is the 21st, but we'll have to go get her license after school that day.

That sounds unbelievably delicious. Mmm. My kind of dinner.

Wade told me to tell you happy birthday from him, and that he was looking through your galleries the other day while he was at work. He said to tell you that your work is AMAZING. (He used capitals with his voice, so I had to use them here too ;) )

Leave it home, or at most take a P&S. You don't really know them you said, and you declined to shoot the event for them, so bringing the big guns would be a bit gratuitous.

Turk, ^^^ my thoughts exactly ;)

It was a nice photo op. Was able to put the 100-400mm to the test also in low light. It worked nicely. I like to shoot stuff like that also, but now that I've got a great (IMO) photo of the woman and her dress showing motion, I'm kinda satisfied shooting this for awhile.

Bobert, meant to say that I L O V E D those shots! Loved them!
