I got both machines and one huge bag that usually takes all three top loaders fit in the two! How pitiful is it when front loaders make your day?

I must be pitiful then. I love mine... it was AMAZING the first time I did ALL my towels in one load, when it used to take 3. And the water and power bills show the difference too. I love that the dryer takes the same amount of time as the washer.

This looks vaguely familiar...

Ya think so? (Checking spreadsheet to see how many times I've been on the summit of that white capped mountain in the distance -- Hmmm... Only seven? For some reason, I thought it was eight.)

Holy crackers, Crissa!
We have a 4 bedroom house, and we keep the temp between 70-74 ALL the time, and our bill includes water (for a large yard) and garbage/sewer, and I don't think we've ever gone over $250 for ours. Your power bill would make me cry!

Mine for last month was $103. That was with the central A/C running pretty much 24/7 for all of July. And I don't mind one bit! I used to spend twice that to keep a tiny, inefficient wall unit going at my last place. Here, I'm comfy. There I was still miserably hot...
