He's usually trimmed .. he's got lots of different looks, but yes, I like the scruffy look too. I've had my beard for so long that, other than my baby pictures, I think this is the only picture I have of myself without it.  Heather doesn't know what I look like without it, either. At one time I sported the long hair, bushy beard biker look, but as I got older, I adopted a bit more conservative look and now keep both my hair and beard trimmed up. John
