Awww Kit love those shots, keep them coming as you find them.

The groomer called a few days ago to verify Cara's appointment before he came over. (we had a standing 3 month appointment with him). Marian answered and had to tell him that Cara had passed away. That was rough on her.

I had forgotten that there were appointments and things that I should have canceled.

Whoops, didn't mean to be down first thing this morning.

Here are a couple funny ones.. this is my nephew Sheldon.
In the first one, he's talking to her, and wondering if she's listening.
In the second one, he's sharing his snack with her. Funny thing is, he would stick his whole hand in her slobbery mouth to give her a piece of dry cereal, then he would reach back in his cup and get one for himself.

I am loving the Cara shots Cat!!!

Eli is making the shopping list, I can hear him asking his dad, "how do you sell pumpkin pie?" The second item on the list is candy...

Eli can do my shopping for me.

He loves to go shopping when he gets to make the list! Tonight he's learning how to wash dishes

I don't have a dishwasher and it is one of my least favorite tasks, so along with taking out the garbage and making his bed this will soon be one of his chores. If he does it well he will start getting a weekly allowance.

While I was looking for the pic of me swilling the bottle of wine (I can't find it) I found a few pics of Cara that were in odd folders so I hadn't moved them to her folder yet.
This first one is one of my favorites.

I always wanted a dog that would just lay there or be my pillow. Dora is a little slut....if she is laying down next to you or on your lap, she always has to try and slip her tongue into your mouth...freaking nasty. Joshua gets so jumpy and hyper that he never sits still for more than 1 minute. It's funny when both wife and I are sitting on the floor, she has Dora and I have Joshua and we're petting them..all is well. But as soon as my wife says "Dora, you're such a pretty girl" or some thing like that, Joshua has to run over and get in the way of Dora's petting time. He squeezes between Dora and my wife so that Dora essentially comes to me to be pet. When she does, here comes Joshua to intervene again.

Just get a dog. Eli can lay the dirty dishes on the floor, let the dog have at them and then he can rinse them off in the sink before drying and putting in the cabinet.

yeah that's all me need in our little closet of a house, a DOG!

By the way, is Smuggy acting funky over near you? I've been trying to access my gallery and only few of the thumb nails load up. Some come up with "photo not found" and an upside down smuggy.
