I bought a Lacie Rugged Drive 160GB and I understood this drive needed to be formatted as FAT32 so I had to create 4 partitions at 32 GB each (the maximum)
Anyway the Epson says there was an error and maybe the device is not formatted as FAT32. Epson support is useless, they just confirmed the device needed to be FAT32.
Lacie has no telephone support just e-mail, what a pain.
Perhaps this drive is not compatible to the Epson and another drive is?? Beats me!
I need to go on a trip and I need an small external USB drive that will work with the Epson P-5000 without all this hassle as a back-up.
By the way both units are brand new and the Epson has the latest firmware on it.
Can anybody help?
