I received my tamron 17-50 last week and went to take some pictures of the car this past weekend. Sadly, the pictures came out on the dark side, so I had to do some processing to fix them up a little bit.

Thanks for looking

Pretty nice.
About positioning the car in the frame, try to leave more room at the front for it to "move into": MOVE YOUR FEET! A <rant> of sorts.

I think the reason for your images turning out on the dark side is that you shot the shadow side of the car. If you know what I mean. Look at the shadows of the car for example. So because the hood and roof of the car were noticeably better lit than the side. Camera decided for a better overall exposure and underexposed the sides.

That's what I noticed. I might be wrong and correct me when I am.

But I still like the pictures! Good job

I like the pictures a lot and love the color of that car. #1 is my Favorite - Interesting view on #4 although I would like to see it without the wheel turned.

e36 m3 is one of my favorites, only thing better is the e30 m3 ;)

should've gotten it in AW...

but really, they look good. all i can say is it has a little too much contrast and you could burn the ground/shadow a little to make the car stand out more.
