I keep getting an error saying the camera was disconnected when I use the EOS Utility to transfer the pictures. I've updated the software and I'm sure I have the latest firmware.
Anyone else have this issue?

I'm not sure tho as I have never used the cable that connects the camera to the computer. Your best bet would be to get a USB card reader and use that instead of directly connecting the camera. It took a little time and some trial & error, but finally figured out, in my case, that it was a faulty USB cable. It worked perfectly fine with another cable, but, as the previous two have said, a card reader is a much better option. Alex | flickr

When I bought th camera, the memory card came with a USB mini card reader. XP doesn't recognize it. I have a Vista PC that I will try it on tonight. Otherwise, i"ll buy a card reader. Canon 7D MK II, Canon 16-35mm F4L, Sigma 150-600mm Sports, Battery Grip, Jobu Design tripod

Batteries are always charged. Rarely let it go more than 1/2. I have the grip so there's 2 in there. Canon 7D MK II, Canon 16-35mm F4L, Sigma 150-600mm Sports, Battery Grip, Jobu Design tripod
