Which radio trigger. Pocket Wizard, Skyport or Microsync

I am looking to buy some radio triggers to fire my 580EXII and 430EX off camera. It seems that Pocket Wizards are the most widely used. But they are about twice the price of skyports and microsyncs. I am planning on using these outdoor for action photography of motorcycles and atvs. I have been using the 430 as a slave to the 580 using the built in communication system but it is not very reliable. I need a system that will fire teh flashes everytime.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of distance will the flashes be from the camera? Are there are lot of radio transmitters or metals in the area? Is the flash within line of sight?

skyports are a no-brainer IMO. at the price, you can save moolah and spend it on more flashes instead.

Also how do pocketwizards plug into the 430 and 580? Do you need to purchase an adapter?

cybersyncs looks like a great trigger system. Although its new product I still purchased the system. The customer service over at Alienbees seems to be great. I just ordered a trigger and 3 battery operated receivers (3yr warranty). I asked "if" there was any problems how they would address it. They said they'd give me their UPS account number to ship back and they'll ship back no charge. In my books thats phenominal service that cares for customers!!

Replaceable AA batteries for the reciever is the deal maker for me. Skyport receivers have nokia lithium rechareables with no easy method of replacement when the unit gets old.

No, the MicroSync radio slave sets are a distinct product and a competitor to Pocket Wizards, Skyports, and CyberSyncs.

They have been around for several years.

The tendency for manufacturers to increasingly rely upon a non-user replaceable rechargeable batteries, when they are known to have consumed their useful life in 3-4 years even without use, is pathetic product design!

WOW, i dont think i have ever heard of a policy like that. thats amazing. i think there going to be my choice over PW as long as i read some good personal reviews.
