Ron, they have a Kingston 4gb 133x card listed for $44. I just bought that exact card direct from Kingston for $23 plus free shipping. It arrived 3 days after I placed the order.

If you happen to have a Radio Shack nearby, I though this was a pretty good deal. A SanDisk Ultra II 2.0GB CF for 24.99. I picked up 2 over the weekend.

They are a little high on the Kingston (I just bought three 8GB cards for $33/ea with free shipping last week from Kingston on a short lived special) but you can still get an 8Gb card for $35 from these guys.

At $35 for an 8Gb card I don't think you need a rebate.:) Then again I've not tried the card in question.

Precisely! I was referring to the Sandisk and other cards people know and love! Not some cheap questionable slow card.

I guess this other thread kind of covers the topic and the poster 'asawadude' pretty much nails it with first hand knowledge of the subject.

I just received $55 back on each 4GB 300x Lexar CF card I just ordered. This is a manufacturer rebate. Card ended up costing $30 with frgt!
