Here's another one that I worked on tonight. This is my first one with a "cut out". That took me a LONG while to somewhat figure out. The hand in the face bothers me but I didn't have any other pic to put there. Other than the hand, please give me feedback. Thanks

I like this one much better. The cut-outs are time consuming but they'll go faster as you get more practice. I like your use of black and white - I don't know why I've never done that with football. I'll have to give it a try.

I agree - the hand in the face ruins what would have been a great shot. I thought about suggesting you use the second to the bottom filmstrip shot as your cut-out instead but you really need the back ground in that one to tell the story. With the background he's scoring a TD... without it he's just running with the ball (and not protecting it very well at that! :) ).

Are they playing now (if so I'm jealous!) .. or are these just shots you had from last year?

P.S. I forgot to mention ... assuming that is his mom in the bottom filmstrip shot ... I LOVE it! I think it's a great addition to the poster. First thing every kid asks when the game is over... "Did ya see me XXXX?" No doubts in this case ... she saw him!

Lucky you! We're still a two weeks away from practice in pads and a month away from pre-season scrimmage at the HS level... Youth FB is longer than that. It can't get here fast enough.

I need to work up a couple of poster templates for this year. I like the layout on this one, is it one that you purchased or did you design it yourself?

I purchased this from artisticaction.com. Out of all the templates I saw on the net, these were the best. This is from their Pro 1 series. Good luck.

Copr, I think you got a money maker there. I really like what you made there. I agree showing the fans cheering really adds to the photo. Nice job. What I like about the photo is it shows many different personalities of the subject. He is a team member, leader, and can take/give a shot in a tough sport.

Thanks Cargo. She's really his #1 fan because that's his mom.

I purchased those too. I bought them to learn some basics in CS3 via "reverse engineering" Never sold any but did make some of my own.

Nice start
