Farnborough Air display Wednesday (contains Vulcan)

I've waited 15 years to see the Vulcan fly again. Yesterday the wait was over.

Lovely pics. Nice to see Vulcan in the air again, worked on them for a lot of years and my last memory was at St Athan when we were towing them and Victors across the road to be broken up, very sad time.

They are all great shots but the F18 shot stands out.

I hope you had your ear plugs in...that's one of the loudest airplanes I've ever heard! But it is a beautiful machine. Great photos.

Great set of shots. The F-18 is very special, but the Vulcan steals the show for me. The front quarter shot is a cracker.

I have to say that I am very JEALOUS that you guys get to shoot that Vulcan. She is fantastic to see in the air. We have one here in an outdoor museum, just not the same thinkg...

I was just thinking that if they ever run out of money to fly the Vulcan, they can always just run some "High Hurdles" around the fuselage and use the airbrakes as the hurdles...

Those things are massive!
