You get 30 days free, and if you decide to buy it, they send you a code.

For a reference I use Photoshop elements for digital photographers by Scott Kelby. It makes the software very easy to understand.

Thanks Matt!
I went ahead and ordered it online (Future Shop), for $89
Hope it will allow me to do everything I want to with my photos. I will read that book you mentioned, and read the online tutorials. I hope it's a fairly straight forward program to understand!!

I have found it to be. It's not really intuitive, but once you get into it a little bit, it all falls together. The Kelby books are nice because its all broken up into "how to" lessons. For instance, instead of reading a chapter on levels, the kelby book will say "How to lighten one area of a photograph" and it will then intro you into levels on a learn as you go type of system. Most of the other photoshop books are more textbook like, and harder to use, IMO.

Good luck and enjoy!!!!

Matt's right...Kelby has some good books. I also recommend this one
http://missingmanuals.com/...great (external link) indepth knowledge and written so its fun to read plus it has plenty of sources and links for further learning. I've been using Elements since version 3 (now on 6) and have done everything and more than I thought I would ever need...and still have just touched the service.

And I also agree with Matt....You are Cute...move to Dallas..... : )

People may not remember what you said or what you did, but they will remember how you made them feel.
