I am fairly sure that almost every piece of camera equipment I have, from lenses to bodies to memory cards, is made in "Asia". Derek

For a $40 (Roxsen) or a $150 (Canon) purchase, either way it ought to work right and not require tape (really, that is ridiculous. This was specifically advertised as a 70-200 f/4L IS collar. Lesson learned, buy the real thing, knockoffs are a risk. One would think they could get something as simple as this right. I did not give Roxsen a positive rating on this POS. Nor would I buy from them again. J. Just received the Roxsen one and back it went to the seller for a refund. This has to be the cheesiest piece of camera equipment knock off I have ever touched with my hands. No way I would trust this garbage. I am spending the extra $100.00 and getting a genuine Canon A II (W) ring. "A mind once stretched by the imagination never regains it's original form."
