Can I get some clarification? The receiver comes with two cables to connect to my existing setup, what are the two cables? I'm sure it doesn't come with a household plug for my Novatrons, but does it come with a large monoplug or a small one, does it also come with a cord for my hotshoe adaptor that I got from flashzebra? The hotshoe adapter has a pc connection.

I appreciate the responses.

The battery CyberSync seems to come with:

  • A short mono miniphone plug (3.5mm - 1/8") to male PC cord
  • A short mono miniphone plug to mono miniphone plug cord
  • A compact adapter - mono miniphone jack (female) to mono phone plug (1/4" - 6.3mm)
Enjoy! Lon

Thanks to BeerCan for posting the pics, now I don't have to.

My setup looks exactly the same (except my velcro is white, not black).

I'll try to confirm, I thought it only came with 2, but it may have been 3. We'll see when I get home (unless BeerCan can confirm now).

Call me Mr. Particular, but does one have to 'velcro' the receivers onto the flash ?
I prefer not to stick velcro onto the side of my new 430 EX.
Can they be rubber-banded to the flash stand (right below the shoe) ?

You're absolutely correct (and so is flashzebra), 2 cables & 1 connector is right.

Velcro is not required or included.

You can attached them to the flash/stands anyway you want.

There are only two cables, but there is also a hard adapter you can use to convert one of the cables.

Enjoy! Lon

1/320 is the fastest I can sync (without any issue) using a 30d.

Anyone tried these on a 1D classic to see how fast it'll sync on those?

Get over the velcro phobia, it is easy to remove if you don't want it on there anymore.;)

Velcro makes things much easier, I think they should just ship them with a "loop" side finish.

Pretty darn close to my experience with them as well.

Still playing around with them, still working great, still loving them.
