really nice composition and lighting. Great shot. The thing that's letting the image down is the blown highlights in the clouds. Are you able to recover them?

I am sure I can bring it into Lightroom and tweak it.

Highlights are blown, but nice clouds are white in reality.
Anyways, heres my edit. Took the attention away from the blowouts a bit.
Forgive how crappy the blue bits of the sky look, I did it in a few minutes.

They might appear white, but nice clouds don't look blown out by digital clipping in reality.

Ron I'm sure you can probably recover some of that detail (fingers crossed)

Everything else about the image is great.

I think the image would be stronger in a landscape orientation. The sky has too much negative space above the clouds to warrant a portrait orientation.

Processing is good.

Thanks all for you comments. I really enjoy this shot. I think that being an extremely bright day added to the clounds being blown out a bit, but I am sure I can reel them back in as Watchtherocks displayed.

I do have a lanscape orientated image, but I had trouble making it small enough to post with the size restrictions. I had better success with the portrait orientation.

That's because more detail = larger file size. It's the empty space in the sky that keeps your file size smaller. Just increase the compression a bit more to get the file size low enough to attach.
