You are one lucky guy. Glad to hear you are ok. Probably a little sore though. You might want to add a parachute to your wish list ;-)a or maybe just stay a little closer to the ground.

Well glad you are here to joke about it.

I don't understand you.

i see beautiful cloud and i rush and go to the rooftop, it's on the third floor, i take 3-5 picture, and when i try to take a further step i slipped!

It's a cloud. just zoom in instead of walking to the moon.

Paten, those clouds would have drawn my interest as well. I think it's a nice shot myself. Not worth dying over but really lovely. Print it out with a quote, "The first day of the rest of my life" to memorialize it and hang it up to remind you.
And heal those lights out in the buildings, they're distracting. :p

You know, in Chinese there is a saying which means roughly "Financial disaster can prevent life disaster". (This is usually said to tell people that their lives are more valuable than money and to treat financial losses as a cost to have your life saved.) I guess your 10-22mm saved your life!

Anyway, glad to hear that you are safe. :-)

OMG! Talk about deja-vu! I'm really glad you are ok. I fell from just under 5 meters at a very bad angle.

Do you see that chair I'm in? And that is a Canon 10-22 I'm fooling around with taking a picture in a mirror from 10-12 cm.

If it hasn't sunk in yet..you cheated death. Let this experience change you for the better..not that you needed an overhaul LOL

Cheers

Well the picture IS nice, I like it. Glad to know it wasnt your last.
And see? The UV filter DOES protect the front element of a lens.
Not sure what part of the world you are in but if you were here in the states you might have a bill in your mailbox for the repair of the awning by now.
