Quick question for the IR pros out there.
Just recently bought the IR polyester filter from Lee, and not getting very good results. The main problem is a lot of lens flare, and very long shutter speeds.
I tried different settings, anywhere from 50 - 1600 ISO, f/2.8 - f/8, and various shutter speeds but still the same problems.
I'm using a Canon 5D and a Canon 17-40mm lens.
My other equipment: Canon xt body, Sigma 10-20mm, Tamron 28-75, Sigma 70-200, Canon 50mm
Is there a special technique to using these filters? Whats the most typical settings on a bright sunny day?
