Hey all,

I just received my first DSLR camera today, a Canon Rebel XTi with a Sigma 18-200mm OS lens. This is my first time ever using an SLR camera, and I've only used point-and-shoot cameras rarely, so I'm VERY new to photography, but also VERY interested and optimistic!

Here are my first pictures, straight from the camera.

It was a very rainy and dreary day out, so I sat inside and read my manual then took a few shots when the rain cleared up.

I just took pictures at work and in my driveway, so nothing too special. I'm hoping for some good weather this weekend, as Burlington, VT is one of the most beautiful places to capture!
