This afternoon I became a member of the 40D Club.
I decided to get the kit with the 28-135 lens,
For the addditional dollars, why not another lens with IS. This will give me a little more reach when needed compared to the 17-85 that I currently have.
I have not had much time to really shoot with it yet. However it does feel more ergonomic than the XTi. It just feels good.

Enjoy! You will have fun with it as well as turn out some quality photos. My advice is to learn all you can about this wonderful hobby, but take it one lesson at a time. Welcome to the 40D club! ;-)a

Cheers,
