Hi everyone! I posted this photo a while back in its
original color which had a blueish hue throughout the
photo. I revisited this shot and gave it a sepia tone
and this was the result. I really liked it and now I am
asking all of you what you think. Thank you for looking
and commenting.....!

Looks like the A string is tuned slightly flat to me.

I think you'll probably need a reshoot on this ;)

I didn't post the first time I looked at it because if I don't have anything nice to say... As someone who has been playing guitar for 15 years... this doesn't say anything to me. It's a headstock. And? What are you trying to say?

As a Gipson and Gretch player for 40 years, your image really looks good to me. And it makes way more sense to me than those physcodelic-band shots and album-cover impersonators that I've seen too many of.

This shot show cases your glass.

Very nice. Only two comments...that lint from a cleaning cloth on the strings...kinda bugs me a little. Also, the 'D' string tuning peg that you can just barely see, might be better if you couldn't see it at all...just my opinion. Otherwise I would be happy with that on my wall.

Well, if this is any help, I showed the pic to my Ibanez GSR-200, and it spontaneously combusted. :)

I have no other comments, I really liked this photo.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all for the informative and constructive comments.
My friend Dan is a bass player and he asked me to shoot his old
Rickenbacker. As a photographer, I was merely trying to capture
something that was a bit different from the norm. I did not notice
the lint on the strings, great observation! I suppose the main thing
is that Dan was happy with the result, thus making the shoot worthwhile!
Any other comments? Learning is a positive thing!
