I've shot around 1.5k the other day. 20Gb of raw. Personal record. What a pain sorting through that is :(

So I guess my 17k in 2 days still beats everybody...

Holy cow and I thought I was bad.
My highest score is 2526 photos in a single day.
During the events entirety I had 7429 photos, and 5113 were good enough to put on sale. However that isn't so good, I average at 1700 photos from 8am-5pm. Now that I have a Canon that number will probarbly increase, along with sucess rate.

17,000 in TWO days?
I'm really interested, what would make you take so many photos?
RAW or JPG? It was red carpet stuff wasn't it?

I really don't keep track anymore. I'm sure I've shot a few conventions where I've done several gig in two or three days, but I seldom do that anymore.

Wow, do you guys just stand on the shutter button? ;) I thought 1800 during a 2 week trip was a lot. Widdled it down to about 600 keepers.

Guess I should take more!

My average for a race weekend is 3500 per day with 80% keepers, I don't upload all that to my website (I tried a couple of months ago and it took 20 hours to upload) but I keep them and archive.

The last race weekend was 23 gb total. This weekend will be even more and I will be getting an extra battery & 4 GB CF card.

10,000 over the course of three days. Huge soccer tournament.

Thankfully I didn't have to edit any of them.

Single game record of 500 for a college hockey game.

So I guess my 17k in 2 days still beats everybody...

Thats one frame every 10 seconds in a 48 hour non-stop period.

Assuming two 12 hour workdays, thats a frame every 5 seconds

Assuming two hours per day downtime (eat, drink, piss, change cards) thats one frame every 4.23 seconds.

Whoa!
