Jul 19, 2008 18:00 | #3 It's a red X for me, too. I've switched from PBase to Flikr and I'm having trouble getting Flikr to link for me. I'll get it worked out and I'll be back later.............. Midnitejam--The happiness in your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

A 50/50 horizon is rarely a good idea. Second, there's no real subject in the foreground. Something to contrast the rest of the scene would be nice. Third, the post processing seems to have added a lot of noise. Even for a compact, at ISO 50, there's too much noise at such a small size. Not bad out of a small compact though.

It looks like it's been fairly heavily PP'd. I know this is just a personal preference, but I really hate those fake frames. I go through fazes with frames. Sometimes I like them--sometimes I don't. Today, I don't particularly care for the frame either. Midnitejam--The happiness in your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

Look almost HDR in some of them (if not they may be good canidates for it). You can always fix the 50/50 centering with a crop but if you HDR it you may not need to crop.
