Sorry for not checking back sooner, the cable looks like it has a standard 3-pin female end that will connect to any of the EOS xxD line, at least.
I went over to eBay to find the cable, in case the link doesn't work, here is the description:
"Aputure Timer Remote C3 for Canon 1Ds 1D 30D 5D 40D R8B"
Note the spelling of "Aputure" it drove me crazy, but helps in the search engine

It has a Buy It Now for $39.99 + $9 S&H, either I guessed wrong about what I paid, or the price went up. Either way, it works wonders.
If you have an 'L' bracket, beware. I have an RRS L bracket for my 40D, the inside of the bracket, on the side, has enough of an opening to pull aside the rubber connector cover and plug the remote in, however, the rubber cover pushes against the connector and will cause the connection to drop. I thought the remote died, but realized I needed to relieve the pressure on the connector and all was well.
The best part of the timer remote (for me, family guy) is that you can set it up to take 'n' number of photos after a delay. This means, I can press a button, take 10 (or whatever I set) seconds to walk over to the family and get into the shot, then wait as 30 shots are taken (with or without on/off camera strobes) so that we have a chance of getting all family members with smiles, eyes open, and fingers out of the noses. . .
