As I was watering my garden, I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. When I realized what it was, I ran inside and grabbed my camera. Unfortunately, my 40D was misbehaving so I grabbed my XT, and this little critter stayed around long enough for me to get a shot. Maybe I'll try to Photoshop the leaf out of the face later.

Not my best Photoshopping to remove the leaf, but it'll do.

Perfect exposure and certainly very sharp. I think you did a very good job removing the leaf.

Wow, you did a great job removing that leaf. When I saw the original I was thinking "great shot, too bad for the leaf", as I scrolled down I thought you took another shot from a different angle. If you hadn't mentioned that you PP'd it, I wouldn't have known.

Agree - nice shots and made me do a double take. Thought it was a diff shot until I took a closer look. Really nice job on removing it.

Lavanut,

I'm really impressed with your PS work removing the leaf, and in only about an hour according to the time stamp on your posts. The photo looks very natural. I probably would have tossed the original picture in my "too bad" bin.

Thanks, all, for the compliments on the PS editing. I enjoy that kind of challenge. When the bunny was there, I kept hoping he'd move a little so the leaf wouldn't be in his face. Alas, when he did move, he scurried off, so I was glad I got what I did. I had to lie down on the wet morning grass to get it, not my favorite thing to do in shorts.

As for PS, I actually spent a little over 30 mins on it removing the leaf. If I were being really picky there are a few more things I'd touch up to try to make it really seamless, but as I said before, it'll do. It was fun and a chance to practice more PS!

Nice job on removing the leaf. I also really like the light shining through the bunny's ear.
