I haven't been to the area yet and I'm looking for some great places for photos!
If anyone can make suggestions that would be great.

:D

Rice University require that you register with the university and pay a fee prior to shooting. I've actually never seen any wedding related shots at the zoo but i bet they could be alot of fun!

Thanks for the heads up about Rice.

Not sure what the zoo or anything in the area looks like so I'm guessing I might have to wing it.

Any other suggestions?

Anyone else have suggestions?
Even a nice back alley or nice garden or a lake or pier or anything?
Houston sounds small and boring if there's no place to shoot.

There are tons of spots. I am not from Houston but the weddings I have done I simply stop the bridal party and jump out for photos when I see a decent location. Have fun enjoy all of the nooks and crannies of Houston.
