Racing

I had a play with this one that I took in January. I have a horrible monitor so the colours might be a little odd- do say if they are.

Horribly garish in my opinion.

From viewing your gallery, I see that you photograph show animals and have some very nice work.

In this case, it might have been an educational and fun exercise, but I don't think that the results turned out well enough to show to clients. The details in the B/W part of the image seem to be very muddy, lacking any crispness. The colored areas are far too saturated. My opinion is that there should be full tonal and crispness continuity in an image of this sort and the coloring ought to be applied in a way that gives it a thematic reason for being.

The saturation/ garishness may be down to my monitor- I must buy another one, it's so very hard to tell.

I wonder if I did the conversion to b/w badly as the original is sharp. I'm going to have another go at it now.
