As I am a powerboat fan that regularly goes to events to take photos', I was just wondering as to what settings yourself and others use when taking photos of this type of motorsport as I have been playing around with a few different things and was hoping to see if I was going in the correct direction or not. Cheers

Cheers I will usually set my camera on manual, the iso will depend on the background and light. If I am panning a shot, the shutter speed will vary between 60-125. Other times I will use aperture priority and adjust the shutter accordingly. If the camera is set on manual, usually iso 400 f/8 and a shutter speed of 800-1200. Those will also depend on your camera and lens. Shoot a ton and have fun, you can always hit the delete key until you find your setting. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please ask and everybody on this forum will be happy including myself to help you......
