I honestly don't think that kiteboarding and alcohol is anything to laugh at. There are too many alcohol related accidents already. Yeah, I sound like a fuddy duddy, but I'm tired of hearing about so many people being killed during recreational activities because of alcohol consumption.

Afraid I am going to have to agree just this Saturday on a lake by me two people died and one is in critical condition after leaving a lakeside bar (with docks) speeding excessively they hit an 18 foot fishing boat with a 60 yo and 35 yo man in it. The only justice being the two in the fishing boat are fine all those who had been drinking were the injured (not that I would want any injured but however does the drunk driver walk away and the innocents die). That said technically fantastic picture, if only the beer was can of soda or a spring water it would be perfect.

Who cares if it's a beer or not.. the picture is great. Yes both of you sound like fuddy duddy's. As if it's impossible to be responsible with alcohol. Absolutely nothing wrong with going out and having fun on a boat with alcohol as long as you are responsible with what is going on.
You have no idea what is going on in this picture with regard to the alcohol consumption so I have no idea why it's even a factor to the photo. Lighten up people.

Actually, isn't it just a bottle of Coppertone that she/he is handing him/her? You might as well be protected from the sun while kite boarding, no? :)

Forget the kite board, I'd rather be on the boat.
