Nice catch -

Pretty darn talented kite-boarder too. You have to figure he's that close to the blue bikini with that board swinging about ....it's a wonder he didn't clunk her in the head.

Forget the kite board, I'd rather be on the boat.

I think it's a great photo, and nice capture. A diet coke for me, though. :)

Great shot, but rather reckless. About four feet lower, and we'd be marveling over a head injury rather than the mid flight beer grab.

Roy Webber;5958941]This is so cool!

Alcohol + Kite-boarding = Not cool

As someone who works in EMS (Emergency medical services) I cringe at the sight of that photo. Just this month we had a young person drive a large powerboat smack into an island. She was seriously injured and her best friend was killed and is often the case, alcohol was a factor.

HNC609 This is a great capture! People this is a photography website! And an awesome photograph was posted..PERIOD! Go to another website to discuss alcohol accidents...Thanks for sharing!

When someone choses to post an image that shows people making questionable choices. The other members here have every right to comment.

The following comment is directed at those who think that consuming alcohol while kite-boarding is no big deal.

Life is hard. It's even harder, if you are stupid.

Jeff I agree with you 100%. Also, I think it is an excellent image. That being said, what upset me was folks commenting that the behaviour shown in the image was okay and not a big deal.

I think some people are making some assumptions here. 1. That he was drinking it. and 2. That he was drinking to excess. The title states the opposite. What's the difference between drinking one beer and kiteboarding and drinking one beer and driving home after dinner? We have no information more than what's in the picture in which to make an informed judgement.

Dave
