Battery Grip question

They deplete together on all canon grips. It does not matter which slot you use for one battery, nor does it for 2.

No problem showing where it is.

Also, Make this thread a sticky please as I think I have contributed to this forums to get one.

on the 40D grip, if i leave the battery grip switch set to ON, will it drain the battery?

No. That switch only enables / disables the grip functions.

Greetings - Piggybacking on this thread please..... in using the dual battery pack (mine is on the 5D), is one battery used before the other (and which one?) and when you charge them do you rotate the batteries? In other words is the one on the left or right depleted first, or are they depleted together? I have never had full depletion of the batteries, but it seems that they take different times to fully charge when charging them prior to an outing, so I do rotate them just in case.
