This will be the first of a few posts on this as I continue to work through images. I have hundreds from the event so I grabbed a few that I particularly like for one reason or another. Great event although the heat and humidity made it brutal at times (especially on the top of the vert deck where it seemed to be 20 degrees hotter than in the photo pits).

cc welcome and if not, hope you enjoy...

There they are! All great, as expected. #2 grabs me most. I'll look forward to a set of your best once you have time. What was the lighting?

#2 and #7 are my personal choices. The background MAKES the photo on #2.

Holy ****, print out #2 as big as possible, and cover as many walls as possible with said print.

thanks all. I guess #2 is the winner here huh? I do like the framing on that one, the Cleveland skyline gave me the hook up big time on that one and Kyle O'Hara musta seen the same thing and just jumped right in.

again thanks all, more to come today.

Matt, how bout that sick new watermark?? Thanks again for the help with that and for taking a look at these. I ride as well so I'm like a kid in a candy shop shooting these guys. I actually know quite a few of them and despite the image these sports sometimes convey, there are some really solid guys out there who'd do anything for ya.

Nice shots Scott, #7 would have to be my favorite...... I didn't get the chance to get out there this year but caught a bit of the bike park on tv, those guys are stepping it up big time every day. Hopefully the Dew Tour finds it's way back to C-Town again next year

Sweeeet shots,, love #2 (lil tone curve's adjust / contrast for some pop), the skyline framing is the money;),, my favorite has to be #5 just for the lighting,

Great job,, show us more:D

thanks guys. Steve, too bad you didn't make it on down although it was insanely warm.

Sum..thanks as well, I had my son working some flash for me (his first time) and he nailed that one down. I tweaked levels a bit on #2 and did a low opacity soft light layer to give it a bit more zing. Thanks for the advice and let me know if you like it better.

nope 1-4 were ambient, 5-7 were flashed with just a single Sigma 530 Super fired off camera with Elinchrom Skyports. The last image (not that you asked) was ambient with the 100 f2 attached.
