Not really sure where to post this....
I'm looking to discover where the "orientation" bit (flag) is stored inside a JPEG files header info.
I need to be able to open a .jpg with a low-level utility (from within my own program code) and know either it's dimensions or simply which-way-up it is.
...and if this can't be done - anyone got any other ideas on how to detect a files correct orientation. I reckon this is too obvious for my brain!
Hope someone can help.
[Edit] Thinking about it, I think knowing it's dimensions would be better.
