Great stuff Kenny. I bet Mamma doesn't cook there anymore, cause Momma fell through the floor. :)

Thanks Mitch!

Could be, or maybe fell off the deck. :) Or maybe lost in the Mine (which I haven't found yet...)

I was at long abandoned house a couple weeks ago, and didn't have my camera with me. :x

You couldn't pay me to spend a night in there.

Well I wouldn't, but there are a couple of fawns and mothers there almost every time I show up. :)

Thank you sir. Much appreciated. I keep trying to capture the essence of this place, I don't feel I've done it yet, will keep learning and trying.

Try a lower angle, like on the floor. Straight up through the rafters. From the windows and doors, along a wall, closeups of some things on one side of the frame and going off on the other, closeups of that stove, hinges, thermometer, handles, the firebox. Closeups of the grinder, pulleys, down in the hopper.

Thanks Mitch, all good ideas to try while I'm waiting on winter. :)

Not a chair around these - stove and ore cart (why an ore cart??) and a rotten old book shelf are are about the only "loose" things there.

I know what you mean though about a chair in an empty room house, gives an eerie feel of something/one missing ...

Thanks!

Now see, I would love to spend the night:)

Such a catchy title! Very creative:)

Reminds me of some of the old houses my friends and I found as kids.

I especially like the last one, but I can't see the details in the shadows (it's probably that my monitor isn't calibrated).

I think that brightening it up and saturating it would uncreeped the mood, but might bring out enough detail in the shadows to make up for it. :)
