A sand mandala, made by some visiting Tibetan Monks in Prato, Italy, last summer.
I hope it's rotated correctly (and in the right section of the forum)!

And yes, it appears to be rotated correctly as I can make out an elephant that appears to be upright.

How large is this object in real life?

The diameter was about 1.5 metres. I remember I evaluated the size with good approximation from another picture, with other elements in it, but I've forgotten the outcome of the calculation! :rolleyes:

I've found that picture again: there is a ruler in it, so the calculation is fairly easy. The diameter is between 120 and 125 cm.
