what lens to use / goal mouth action- football

looking for advice, what's the most used lense for goal mouth action in football.I know the pro's use 70-200 2.8 but was wondering if they use anything else.

you can use all sorts of glass depending on what you want to capture. the 70-200 is a versatile focal length if you are shooting close to the goal whereas you'd want much longer glass if you aren't. another option is to shoot some wide stuff to capture a totally different feel. This one was with a Sigma 10-20 for instance... (bottom line, I'm not sure there's a straightforward answer to this)

70-200 is a good choice
most normal set ups are a tele prime (normaly 400 f2.8) then a short tele zoom for goal mouth stuff
