DId you know that it was coming from there on the sneak pass? The only reason I got a similar shot was that I knew where to look?

Nice captures.

FA, I did not know it it was a lucky series and someone told me after the #5 came by that he was going 700mph, I did catch him on the pass to the left but he didn't have the halo and I was expecting him then it just wasn't as dramactic. I knew he had not broken the sound barrier that close to everyone but was pretty darn close on the first pass, I was lined up right next to some trees that had my view to the left blocked, I heard it coming and had a very short time to catch it and focus on it, I was pretty amazed I got the shots. At a higher resolution it looks very good and I actually got 4 pictures of it total and two were tighter. I think I have about 300 keepers that turned out real well

I love #1. #2 and #5 look to me like they might be just a touch overexposed.

The sneak pass is always a difficult capture, even when you know it's coming. Nice job.

Not sure if i would crop out the ground in the first one. It's good to show altitude, but for me its distracting. Perhaps it's the green, it looks a bit off.

It's green because they had around 4 inches of rain the previous 2 days, I left it in there to show just how low the plane was flying as he did the pass, I agree that it is distracting but does add so qualities to the shot. I will crop it out for my gallery but thought people might find it interesting how low to the ground the jet was flying

thanks for your input
