I love my 5D except.......... I have an intermitant hot shoe problem where it does not fire - or fires late. It does it with my flash unit as well as my remote tramsmitter.
When it does it I have to switch to using a wire from the PC output to the Novatrons.
I just picked up another 5D for a spare while I sent the first one back to Canon to repair this issue and it has the same problem.
Sure hope someone has a good suggestion or I may do something crazy in the heat of the moment - like drive over it or something!!!
