Police lightbar pictures

How would I take pictures of Police lightbars in operation, Most of these are not the "NEW" strobe light style, but rather the old halogen type.. Id like to capture as many of the flashes as possible

Put your camera in the mode where the shutter stays open for an extended period of time.

use a tripod, and start with using a long exposure such at 20 seconds and say about f/16 iso 100 and see if that works.

not sure what situation youll be in, is the cop pulling someone over, pulled over, or driving?

i shot some a week ago of 3 cops and 1 sherrif, at iso 1600 and 1/25 shutter speed, half were duds, rest were acceptable, there wasnt much for "lightbar flash" as we have new thin led type ones that flash from the front the most.
