Well I had what I thought was a good back pack that I got at office depot. I used it to carry my laptop and camera equipment but the bag started to get tear marks so I need a good back pack that I can use to carry my lap top, camera and a few lenses. What I am looking for is something that has a slot for a laptop and some compartments where I can slip in my camera battery and some lenses. I've searched and came up with alot of ideas but mostly bags for cameras only and those wont fit my laptop. I will also be using this as carry-on while I travel so something rugged is needed. Any one have any recommendations on anything? Thanks in advance...............

I still think the Adventure 9 is the answer for anyone wanting a backpack and a very large laptop. The Kata bags are wonderful but doesn't fit a larger laptop, but is so comfortable to carry. I love m Kata 465 and it comes with the laptop compartment with the 467. Go to a good camera store and look at them.
