G35 Sedan | GP-Photography

nice set. what kind of settings were you using? any lighting?

thanks. i shoot 90% in Av and i was switching off with both of my lenses so the aperature varied from 1.8-2.8. The only light i ever use is natural

ok cool. thanks. wait, if you only shoot natural light then why do you own a 580? ill take it off your hands at no cost to me if its a POS.

Nice set and nice location. Only thing I would suggest is to move the G further from the background if you can to reduce the reflections in the hood.

What bothers me is that I'm starting to like #3, in comparison to #1 which I'd like permission to use in a "Count the bad reflections!" thread?
If you're taking shots for someone, shouldn't your first thought be to make the subject look good?

nice shots there, the only thing I can pick at is there are too many reflections for my taste in the first shot

Jamie, PhotosGuy, and Torque, take a look at where the pictures were taken, there is really no possible way to reduce reflections to a suitable point in DOWNTOWN LA. I always use a CPL and try to reduce reflections as much as humanly and digitally possible, but sometimes the circumstances dont permit. #6 is the best i could possibly get as it is a combination of 2 pictures with the CPL in different positions on the car.

I wasnt happy either with the placement of the car so close to the wall but it was quite a narrow alley on the graffiti pictures so moving it any further away would have reduced movement for certain angles around the car.

I like them! Very nice pics and a great looking car. I like the location too; I can see how reducing reflections would be near impossible but, I think you did good.

I understand what your sayin, its not bad or distracting in the others so much as one

Here's a compromise. I'll add "If the owner is happy, shut up." to my criteria & you replace "C&C is always welcomed." with that "owner is happy" note so I know what to not say in the future?
