Was wondering if you guys can help me out again. I went out to shoot a superbikes race last weekend and one of the riders found a picture of him that I shot on my flickr.

This morning I got an email from him asking if he can use it for his press release and feature it on his website.

If anyone of you have ran into a situation like this, what do you guys usually charge?

Good place to start. If you know where the press release is supposed to run and the target size, then you can check it out at that site. All depends on how unique your photo is and how much exposure it will get.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I will charge between $100 to $200 for the usage on the website in low resolution than for the press release, like it's already said, you need to find out which publication, the run... etc. and don't forget to ask the credit line. Very important for your portfolio.
