I'm at a loss and thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone can help.

I got a book out of the library several months ago, and want to track down one of the photos in it to see if there's somewhere I can order a print... only now I can't remember the name of the book.:oops::oops:

It's a hardcover landscape photography book, with photos by many different photographers. I am pretty sure it was all American landscapes, although not necessarily American photographers, and I thought the title had something to do with America or United States. I can't remember where I found the recommendation for it, but it was either here, in one of Scott Kelby's books, or in one of Bryan Peterson's books.

The particular image I'm looking for was a vast, slightly hilly field of orange flowers (poppies, I think), and was towards the beginning of the book. I think the photographer's name started with an O. That's about all the detail I can think of to go on.

If anyone has any ideas... I'd be so grateful. I tried calling the library to see if they keep track of books taken out, but they don't. It's a big library and the odds of finding it again are small.

Maybe go back to the library, and go to the area where you originally found the book? Too bad they don't keep a record of books you check out...that sucks. Good luck in your search.

I will try that... but it is a big library (and it could be checked out). And I think that I might have reserved it from another branch - in which case it wouldn't be there. I wish I could find where it was recommended to me!

I don't think so. It wasn't a how-to book - more of a coffee table kind of book.

I've tried that, but haven't found it yet.
