So I have the Cactus Wireless Transmitters. Occasionally I've had great luck syncing them at 1/800. I'm using a 580EX and a 430EX, and am wondering what the trick is to get them to sync over 1/200 of a second? Thanks.

But in practice, the max sync speed may be limited by the flash/strobe, remote trigger devices, etc. ...Leo

Indoors, point your flash at the wall and take a series of shots, raising your shutter speed each shot, beginning with 1/125. I did this and at 1/200 it was fine, at 1/250 started seeing the shutter. That makes sense, I guess for those photos I was just exposing decently for ambient lighting. Ooops on my part, thanks for the clarification!
