Hate to be picky, but I can't help thinking it need a little more room at the bottom. I feel like the drip needs "somewhere to go".

Maybe screw the rule of thirds and whack it smack in the middle. Go on, be a ninja. ;)

I know exactly what you mean here, I did try and I prefferred this one, it's not say other's may not like the other.

What I found more interesting was to show more where the cherry with the stem.

I thought the drip at the bottom should have been illuminated a little better. Other than that, I like it. Especially the scar... gives it character.
