I faired no better the light was pretty bad, I'm sure a few of the hardened photogs managed to achieve better shots - well here is some of mine:

I'd love to go to an air show in the UK. There's so much stuff flying over there we never see in the US. The Vulcan, Catalina, Lancaster and Spitfires, not to mention Hurricanes and a lot of other stuff.

What I wish we had was a flying PBY Catalina. I live in San Diego and the Catalina were built about five miles from my house. The only one we have here is a PBY5 on display at the San Diego Air and Space Museum.

The UK has some good air shows, not that we have more mind you - smaller island more concentrated & a shorter distance to travel.
With regards to variety the same can be said for the UK, we don’t get many of Cold War variants like you get in the States.
