Funny story about this guy, I was on location working on a film and this character pulls up on his motorcycle and starts talking to me. He was a traveling poet and he was trying to sell his poetry books.

I told him that I'd buy one of his books on one condition! "Let me take a picture of you!", he had a huge smile, it was obvious that he was flattered that I wanted a photo of him.

So I maneuvered around him so I could catch the sun in his goggle, at first he was trying to take off his helmet/goggles, but I told him to leave it on!!

Thanks for lookin' :)

His poetry was actually quite good btw, but most important, I got what I consider to be a very interesting image of a very unique character.

That's a real character you captured. i find the background a bit cluttered though.

incredible shot.
i don't mind the cluttered background, adds some kind of industrial feel to the shot.

good stuff

excellent work, perfect decision to leave the goggles on and use the light....I wonder where he got those goggles, they are cool.
