Long story short. Hard drive was formatted. I recovered the files. 10,000 pics or so. But I can't view them. They are corrupted. I've tried Photopaint, Corel Draw, ACDSee, some recovery software and Adobe Lightroom.

None help. Anyone have a software to fix them? Seems it's the headers that are corrupted.

Yikes, what did you use to recover them? Maybe try another recovery program?

I used something I had that always worked. Can't retry it. The drives are the ones in my system now.

Don't know how much your files are worth to you but Kroll OnTrack should be able to recover them for you.

I have the pictures restored already. I don't need someone to undelete them per say. If anyone has a software that can repair the damage, I can do the work myself. And manually doing over 10,000 pictures is not worth it.

This time it has nothing to do with backup. I had a backup on another PC but that PC doesn't belong to me and it's a long story.
