I want to do some off camera and multi-flash setup.

Currently I just have a 430ex.

First question is what other equipment do I need? I have 2 basic tripods that I can put flashes on. How do I mount the flash to the tripod?

How do I trigger the flashes? Can I do one flash on camera and trigger a 2nd flash? Looking for basic gear so I can get started and then I can upgrade later.

Just looking for a guide as to what I need? Going to take some practice I am sure but I in for the long haul. Thanks guys!

Cool.

Will read that!

Sounds like I have the worst setup for making anything work huh?

I think I want to use this:

Now what else do I need to use a 2 flash setup? Can I get a Canon 580ex and fire the 580ex and the 430ex from that kit above? I think I need an extra receiver.

Thanks guys.

I know I need light stands and maybe some umbrellas if I want to soften up the light.
