I'm over in Iraq and everything is so dull looking. I got tired of photographing the same landscapes, people and typical brown/tan desert colors. However, there's no shortage of bugs and lizards.

I've been dying to get into macro photography for awhile now. A few months ago, I purchased a 100mm macro lens , 430EX and in the process of getting the Kenko tubes. Now I just purchased the items below from B&H. Did I make good choices for a bracket?

Hama HAAS.25B
Accessory Shoe (1/4"-20 Bottom Thread)
$ 19.95

Hama HABHS
HA5011 Compact Ball Head-Small
$ 24.95

Canon CAOCE3
OC-E3 Off Camera Shoe Cord 3
$ 69.95

Bogen / Manfrotto BO233B
233B Camera/Flash Bracket
$ 61.95

Sto-Fen STOBC430EX
OM-EW Omni-Bounce for Canon 430EX
$ 16.95

Canon 5D | 24-70 f/2.8L | 70-200 f/2.8L IS | Full Gear List
