Way late from when they were taken, but was looking for some input and to show them off a little. It was my first attempt at motorsports or panning, so with that, I am not too upset with my results.

He was street racing when he slammed a light pole or tree r something.. if I recall correctly, the passenger was seriously injured or killed.

WhiteZenki, nice panning for your first time out.

These shots are great for a first time. I had a look at the rest of the shots in your gallery. Very nice.

Thanks a lot guys.

I had to toss a decent amount of pictures too, I was messing with my settings a lot, and couldnt tell what I liked on the dinky rebel screen. Overall, if I went again I would do a lot better I think.

Why, what did he do?

Nick used to drift a viper and was trying to get his licence to be able to drift (or whatever it is lol) and he banged up the viper right on the barrier!!!! poor poor viper!!! this was on their reality show and he's in jail now anyways, so the only drifting he'll be doing is from trying to get away from those inmates around corners..haha...

Nice pics. by the way!

I think #2 is the best.
#1 seems to have a green colorcast in it?

What lens did you use? I will be attending the Formula D event at Evergreen Speedway this saturday and was questioning if my 17-50 would be too limited.

definitely need more reach. i've shot 3 fd events with press passes with a 28-105 and i was limited with the shots i could get. a 70-200mm would have been perfect.
